This week is Bath Digital Festival. It’s a bit like the Edinburgh Comedy / Fringe Festival, in as much as there are lots of different talks and workshops taking place throughout the week in different locations in Bath. And obviously, it’s focused on digital rather than punchlines.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of running a workshop, Keeping creativity on track with agile. It was a great session, I really enjoyed it. I spent the first 20 minutes talking about creativity and agile in general, then we moved on to practical sessions using Mind Doodle. The audience split into small groups, and each one chose a problem to solve. The first part was to mind map the problem, the second was to add tasks to each of the ideas in their mind map, and then organise the tasks into sprints.
I’d like to thank the Bird Hotel, Bath, for hosting the workshop. It’s a wonderful place, complete with a mini beach in the garden which was perfect for a beer afterwards.
For more information, go to the Bath Digital Festival Website. There are still lots of events taking place this week, don’t miss out! For those interested in the topic, here are a few stats from my talk. Thanks to Tess, our marketing manager, for helping with the research.
